All of our pups are not released to new owners until they are a minimum 8 weeks old, some puppies will be kept longer depending on size and puppy development.  All payments on dogs flying out must be received a week prior to flight date. If payment isn't received in full by date a $20 late fee will be applied. If a puppy who is being picked up isn't paid for in full by pick up date a $5 per day kenneling fee will be applied. If you don't make arrangements with me 2 weeks after pick up date or flight date puppy will be relisted for sale again and all received money will not be refunded. Deposits are non-refundable since a puppy is no longer for sale once deposit is received. Regarding shipping: when you pay for the shipment of a puppy you will recieve a health certificate, vet exam, and crate for flight. Shipping for a puppy within the U.S. is $300, if you get a second puppy from the same litter add $50 and both can fly togeterher.  If you are picking your puppy up you must supply your own crate and you are responsible for taking your puppy to the vet within 48 hours of transfer of puppy to you. When your puppy flies with an airline it is required they be checked out by a vet first and recieve a health certificate. I will take your puppy to the airport in their pet carrier, they will have bedding, food and water available at all times. Your puppy will fly in the cargo area of the plane and breath the same air as the passengers. They will be kept in the dark to encourage them to sleep. There are never temperature restrictions when we use Continental airlines since they have a petsafe program that makes sure the puppies are always in a temperature controlled area to and from the plane. Continental is my preferred carrier to use. If you do intend to breed, please don't breed a dog under 4 pounds. Your male must always be smaller than your female and he should come out of smaller parents than your female. Never breed two dogs that you don't know the parentage. If you do, your looking at a possible c-section, and possibly loosing your female. Please leave the breeding to responsible breeders that know what they are doing. We know what we are doing and we lose dogs, so breeding your pet is risky business. We hear the story: "I just want my little girl to have one litter." That may be all she has alright because you could lose her. We do not breed outside our kennel because we don't know what we are breeding into. We have worked hard and spent lots of money to produce good pups and will not take the risk of producing anything less or being responsible for your pet dying. Difference in sex is just a preference. Males can be more even tempered (They don't go through heat cycles). In a lot of cases males are more loving and are lap bunnies. This is not always true but in our home it is. Neutering does not always keep a male from lifting his leg. This is a natural process. Male or female - using a water spray bottle to squirt them and say no is the best way to housebreak them. Take them outside immediately after you squirt and say no. Don't ever hit a puppy with anything, newspaper, hand etc. or rub their nose in their stool, this breaks their spirit. We can not guarantee the ears to stand up on the puppies. If you like we can tape the ears at 5 weeks for 3 days then remove the tape for 5 days then tape again for 3 days. If they start to droop or are not standing when you purchase the pup you can tape them up to see if they will stay. Some dogs ears stand up without any problems and some just don't.. We do everything possible to assure you are taking home a healthy pup. If the pup does have a problem and it is not life threatening, we require you to return the pup and we will nurse it back to health, (We do not pay vet bills) and then return the pup to you. If the pup should have a life threatening genetic problem (licensed Veterinary diagnoses required) within one year of purchase we will replace the pup with the next available like puppy.  After purchase you are required to take the puppy to a licensed vet within 48 hours for a health checkup. If this is not complied with any and all guarantees are void. Any death must be accompanied by a licensed Veterinary autopsy for replacement. When you adopt a pup from us, you adopt us too, so please call for the life of your dog, which we pray will be a long and healthy one, with any questions or advise on health issues or any concern. If they are out of our champion bloodline and/or if we have siblings from different litters making it possible to show you what you may be getting, etc. There are a lot factors to consider when pricing a puppy. We breed for health, temperament, hair and last - size. We want you to get a healthy puppy; there is nothing sadder than getting a puppy home and it having health problems. We are proud to say that in the near 14 years we have been breeding puppies we have had no life threatening problems. In other words no one has reported any of our puppies to have any genetic problems, a life threatening health problem. The rule of thumb for weight as an adult is: The weight at 8 weeks old, multiply by 2 ½, and/or the weight at 12 weeks old multiply by 2. The rule of thumb for weight as an adult on chihuahuas is as follows: The weight at birth will be in ounces as adults that is converted to pounds. Example if pup weighs 3.6 ounces at birth he or she should weigh around 3.6 pounds as an adult. Female pups being more expensive than males as a general rule because they are more desirable because they do not mark their territory in the same way as males. Also because they are breedable. All our pups are CKC limited registration and are to be spayed or neutered at 6 months or at minimum 2 pounds.
